Refunds

Thirty days, full refund, no questions. If a book isn't for you, reply to the email it came in within thirty days of buying and the money goes back to the card or account you paid with. You keep the files.

Payments and refunds are handled by Payhip, the store that delivers the books. Refunds usually show up within five to ten business days depending on your bank.

Privacy

When you buy a book, Payhip takes your name, email address and payment details to process the order and email you the download. Card details are handled by Payhip and its payment processors and are never seen or stored by this site.

This site itself doesn't set tracking cookies or run advertising pixels. Your email address is used to send you the book you bought and any free updates to it. It isn't sold, shared or added to a list you didn't ask for.

Terms

The books are digital PDFs for your own household use. You may print them and keep them for as long as you like on any device you own. Please don't resell them, post them online or share the files outside your household.

Everything in the books is what one household did and what it cost, researched and written for general education. Prices vary by store, region and season. Nothing in the books replaces an order, a warning or an alert from your county, the National Weather Service or your fire agency, and nothing in them is medical, legal, electrical or financial advice. A generator transfer switch is a licensed electrician's job. When they say leave, leave.
